The Pherrow’s P41M Chino is a faithful reinterpretation of the classic M-41 US Army trousers, originally adopted by the U.S. military in 1941. Drawing inspiration from wartime officer chinos, this model recreates the authentic details and fabric character of vintage military trousers while subtly refining the silhouette for modern wear.

The trousers are crafted in Japan from high-density woven chino cloth, designed to reproduce the glossy appearance found on original WWII officer trousers. When new, the fabric has a subtle sheen reminiscent of vintage military uniforms; with wear and washing, this finish gradually softens, developing a more subdued and natural character.

Construction details remain true to the original military design. The front features a button fly with metal U.S. Army–style buttons, while the waistband includes a distinctive double-welt coin pocket, an iconic detail of early military chinos. Additional elements such as twin-needle stitching along the side seams, durable cotton drill pocket bags, and reinforced construction reflect the robust workwear origins of the garment.

The P41M silhouette offers a moderately wide straight leg, while the rise has been slightly adjusted to feel more comfortable for modern wear without losing the vintage character of the original design.
